If i set electric oven to 350, the oven preheats and shuts off around 350 and i get a 43 error code. I crossed referenced the code and the internet tells me it is a faulty sail switch. I have taken the oven a part and cannot locate the sail switch. Looking up on your site and the drawings, i do not see a sail switch. Trying to isolate the problem. Any ideas
The same issue in bake and broil. I am not sure when the fans should turn on (they have not turned on when i have tried heating the oven)

Hello
See technician manual link below. The #43 Error code is a cooling fan not operating . See page #20 in the manual link below for rectifying this code and the steps to troubleshoot.

I have read the technician sheet, thank you. The manual states the oven will have a sail or hall switch. I cannot find the sail so I am assuming My oven has a hall switch and I believe it is the hall switch that is failing and not turning on the fan. Where can I locate the hall switch

There is a label inside that references error code 43 and resolution is ” check hall effect operation”. How do I check “hall effect operation”
  • Hello Here is a link to the Thermador parts page https://www.partswarehouse.com/Thermador-PRD304GHC-04-Range-s/401394.htm . The hall switch needs to checked with a continuity test. Do you have an OHM meter ? If not you can get one at Home Depot for $10
