CHECKED FOUND THE ERROR CODE ER IF PROBLEM WITH FAN
DETERMINED FAN NOT WORKING REPLACED COVER ASSEMBLY IN REFRIGERATOR FROZEN. AFTER INSTALLING THE ERROR CODE WENT AWAY BUT CAME BACK AFTER A FEW HOURS. IS IT POSSIBLE THE MAIN CONTROL BOARD IS THE PROBLEM. CAN YOU HELP WITH THE DIAGNOSTICS. I LOOKED UP THE MODEL NUMBER FOR A VIDEO BUT NO RESULTS FOUND. I AM TOLD THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM PLEASE HELP.

That error indicates that the control noard is not registering the ice makerror fan rotating. If you are saying it looks frozen or iced up I would check the defrost system parts. Make sure your defrost heater and sensor are good. If your are having a problem with the defrost system that can cause the fan to get engulfed in frost and bind up. If the defrost system checkso out OK then I would replace the main control board.
