Hello
An error code 99 (or occasionally flashing “99” or “9”s) on a KitchenAid refrigerator typically signifies a water system issue or a communication error involving the dispenser. This often happens after changing the water filter or experiencing a power interruption. It usually indicates that the refrigerator is unable to properly detect the water filter or that there is a restriction in water flow. See technical sheet link and parts breakdown.

What I’m trying to say when I open the refrigerator door freezer display is reading 0° but the refrigerator display is flashing 70° and when I go into diagnostic mode ( 1 through 7 ) on this model number. #1 is the thermistor reading and it is giving me 99 on the Refrigerator display. I would like to know where the.Thermistor is located on this particular model thank you ( the Refrigerator, “thermistor” ).
