Hi i have a problem with the freezer coils freezing over with ice, the code flashes 3 but i just watched your video about the heater wrap around the freezer being replaced, the freezer drain is always frozen solid and wont drain without a lot of effort on my part to make sure it is clear, now the fridge side is getting a pool of water under the bottom drawer. looking forward to hearing from you, thanks for such a great site to come to for help!!! Ken
P.S. it is my understanding that the code means it is a sensor for the heater. ???

One of the more common problems we run across with those Samsung refrigerators are those defrost components failing this does created an ice/frost build up over time that may eventually freeze over the hole in your drain pan. The attached video is not for your exact model, but it demonstrates how to access the defrost components on a Samsung refrigerator. We also do see those thermistors needing replaced quite often. The part image attached should give you a good reference point on what part to look for in your refrigerator.
Looking up the Samsung error codes it does look like the 3 beeps indicates the refrigerator thermistor may have failed. The part is fairly cheep and not to terrible to get access to, it might be worth your time to start there.
