freezer door handle mounted onto brackets that rotate pushing the door ajar breaking vacuum for ease of openning the door. How to access these brackets for replacement.

What have you tried so far?
believe the top plastic trim is removable. but not certain how w/out breaking it…also believe on some doors these brakets are not replaceable.
