This unit has two ovens and a broiler each run off separate ignitors, the ignitors all light how ever there is not ignition and no odor of gas flowing. There is also no or very low gas flow to the surface burners, the first burner will sometime light for a few seconds then goes out but no odor of gas when keeping the burner turned on.

If it was just the oven burner I would think it was the safety valve but don’t understand what is affection gas flow to both the oven and the surface burners.

Customer indicates that the gas company was out and confirmed good gas pressure to the unit. I am looking at replacing the gas valve assembly part # WPW10546238. Are there other components that could be causing this issue? Any special considerations when replacing this part?

Hello
See the sevice manuals below and run the complete diagnostics to see if there any stored error codes. There are a few possibilities. Therec are no service bulletins on this specific issuse at this time. Matt Ace technician

1) Press SETTINGS/OPTIONS until “Temp Calib” is
highlighted and then follow the instructions to see the
temperature offset. The current offset, if any, is shown
in the display in a temperature range from 30°F (18°C)
to -30°F (-18°C).
2. Pressing the “More” and “Less” or “+” (plus) and “-”
(minus) keypads will adjust the temperature in 5°F (3°C)
increments.
3. Bake temperature adjustment cannot result in
operating temperatures higher than 550°F (288°C) or
lower than 170°F (77°C), as measured at the oven
center.
4. Once the bake temperature has been adjusted, broil
temperatures are automatically offset to the same
degree.

This information is all very helpful. Just one question, to put this model into the automatic diagnostic mode it says push cancel, cancel, start, looked at the unit and the control panel on the documents you provided there is no cancel button shown?
  • If you do not have a cancel button, there should be a button that is similar to cancel, such as end, stop, or clear. Which ever button you would press to stop a bake cycle or clear a selection should be the button you need. It does sound like the gas valve/ regulator is going to be your issue. As long as the unit has not or does not need to be converted to a different fuel type (LP, OR Natural gas). Also, make sure no gas work has been done recently in the home or any thing else that would cause low pressure to the unit, even though the gas company has checked pressure. If the pressure issue is with in the unit it should be with in the gas valve. You could have weak igniters causing the gas valve to not open for bake and broil, but if all 3 of your bake and broils are not working this would be very unlikely to have all 3 igniters go weak and stop working at the same time.
