See the technician guide below. Have you replaced the water saddle vale ? It sounds like you have a valve that is leaking through. With low water pressure trickling though it will freeze up the inlet tube. You need to have good cwater pressure through the water inlet tube. Matt Ace technician

The only way you can get water into the fill tube of the ice maker is with water leaking through the one of the valves. If the diaphragm of the inlet tube is not seated properly it will cause this issue. If the inlet valve is seating properly and you have low water pressure from the saddle valve the inlet tube will freeze when the ice maker goes into harvest cycle. Its one of the two valves causing your issue.
