In the ice maker compartment, is ice built on bottom of ice maker and also the sides. When this happens the ice maker will not work. I defrosted ice maker, and ice maker will make ice until it ices up again. Does the gasket to the ice maker compartment need replaced?

Hello
The ice maker could be leaking Part #: DA97-12317A . As long as the compartment is sealed replaced the ice maker. See service manual link below.
