Ice clumps in ice bucket every 3 days.
Brand New SxS Frigidaire fridge. No leaks from ice maker. Zero degrees in Freezer with good evaporator fan airflow. Ice dispenser Door and Freezer door close nicely. I thought maybe the icemaker heater was sticking on so I replaced ice maker with now improvement. Within a couple days they call back and all the ice cubes are frozen together. Any Ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Change the freezer temps to at least -2ºF to help maintain temps to the ice area. There might be issues with the defrost system staying too long into the cycle, . Only way to tell is by placing a temp logger in the freezer and check the readout after 3-5 days. Read the data logger put next to the ice bucket: I think you will find a defective defrost thermostat .
