Hello I have been working on this maytag refrigerator for about a month now. I have replaced the ice maker with the updated version with the new wire harness. The ice maker works for a few days and then jams. I have replaced it twice now. I noticed that the fill arm on the icemaker was rubbing on the rear fan housing. I have shaved that down and it worked for a few days then jammed again. If you push down on the arm it will dump the ice. It will not dump on its own. There are no issues with the temperatures in the refrigerator or freezer.
I am at a loss of what to do next. I hope we can solve this together.

Hello
There are no service bulletins on this issue. I have provided a technician service sheet link below . Are you sure the ice maker is filling to the proper water level ? See the instructions below to test the fill time. If you are getting low water pressure the ice maker will jam. And you are sure the freezer is getting below 14 degrees as the ice maker thermostat #627985 closes at +15 degrees. The Ice maker will not harvest unless its +14 degrees or lower. An easy way to check is ice cream, if ice cream is solid it is at least +10 degrees. Matt Ace technicioan
