when I push the button to dispense I hear the click meaning the flap is opening.
but the auger will sometimes turn and sometimes not turn..

Hello
See the technician diagnostic manual link below. You will need to check for power at the auger while energizing the door flap. You could have a bad dispenser assembly loosing power to the motor. If you have 115 volts to the motor while energized and the motor stops you have a defective auger motor. Matt Ace technician
