i replace the icemaker and it still making a little ice. Should i replace water valve?

Hello
I would run the ice maker through a harvest cycle . Make sure you have a minim of 1/2 inch of water across the whole tray. If you do not you may have a defective or plugged water saddle or inlet valve. Matt Ace technician

hi I replace the water valve and still doing the same thing. I ran the icemaker through a harvest cycle the ice cubes that where there came out and then it called for water. But then it wont keep running. It’s a new icemaker and new valve.

Do you have good freezer temperatures. Is the freezer at -5 degrees to +5 degrees. If you do not have good freezer temperatures you will not make the thermostat to run the ice maker through the harvest cycle. Did you run the unit through diagnostics ? Are there any error codes. ?
