I have a customer’s Kenmore Elite Oven/microwave combo in which the microwave portion is not heating food. Can you post the tech sheet for this model? I have just about exhausted all means of repair.
I initially found that the HV Capacitor was faulty. I replaced it with another that was only slighty different in value (from 0.94µF to a 0.97µF). Upon testing, the microwave heated! I tested for a few more rounds (~8oz. of water for 75 seconds) and was just about to call it a successful repair and button the whole thing back up, when I went to test one more time, it did not heat my water.

Hi. No luck on finding a tech sheet yet. They are usually located inside the control area on one of the side walls. Or it could be on the outside of the unit. Once you pull it out of the wall located on one of the sides. Sounds like you may have a door switch issue. The best thing to do to diagnose a microwave is to get an amp reading during a cycle. Take your amp clamp and clamp it around one of the main wires coming into the unit. This will get us to the right section to be able to diagnose depending on how many amps you get.
