Replaced both springs on microwave door wp4451008 and wp4452395. Customer complaint door falls forward without any tension on it. Can springs be installed wrong. Or how to install springs.

Were the old tension rods broken? I have replaced broken ones before and found the door had more tension but still fell down when let go. I do not think there were any other springs or hinges that would hold any tension on the door.

tension rods were not broken. you would literally have to hold door so it would slam down. none of the links above helped with this situation.any tutorials on tension rods be installed.
