My Maytag top load washer is leaking. Seems to be occurring during drain cycle. I removed back cover and attached to drain hose is a smaller clear rubber hose, 8572540 FSP. The clear hose has a deep groove worn into it, assuming caused by vibration from rod it is attached to. Looks like this is where water is coming from. Is that possible? If this is the problem, what is name and part # for this hose, or can I use any clear tubing of the same size.

Parts breakdown, Service pointers

See the parts breakdown and technician sheet. The part number you gave me was for a Water Level Pressure Switch Hose 34″ Long. These are specific to the unit and it is recommended to replace with exact hose. Matt Ace technician
