it was very very hot to the touch.
but it is running and not cooling

Hello
This is an incomplete model number. Zelik please give us good model numbers. 50% of them you give us are not good model numbers. A hot compressor will indicate poor air flow across the compressor or a impacted condenser. You could also have a sealed system issue. Matt Ace technician

hi and sorry about that. this is the model number . KSSC48QTS02 the temperature is 67 and 67 I did clean the condenser coils and would them to turn it off over night and we are still at the same issue. can u please tell me how to test the freon levels on this unit thanks

You need a Piercing Valve, 5/16″, OD, Part # BPV31 and gauges to tap the suction line. If its in a restriction you have a leak in the system. If you have high suction pressure 15 PSI or higher you have a bad compressor.
