I checked out this dishwasher for not disolving the Finish detergent tablets. The first fill had plenty of water and all spray arms turning, second fill same thing, on the third fill I noticed the DW did not sound the same. I opened the door and the circulation pump was running but there was no water in the unit. My initial thought is bad water inlet valve that got hot and stopped working. Could this be a bad control board not sending power to the valve? Doesn’t sound logical since it worked initially. Any ideas on how to check this one.I’m going back to it on Friday morning. Any help is appreciated

Did you check for voltage going to valve? Did you ohm out valve solenoid? Did you check overfill float?I would have my meter leads clipped onto the water valve terminals to see if there was indeed power at that third fill increment. This is the main wash cycle, and would be the time the detergent drops. If power is there, bad valve.
