iI have a LG Tromm washer, it will tumble in both directions but when its time to spin it doesn’t move and makes a racheting noise.
Help ?
Everything is soaked because it won’t spin to drain any water.
could it be the drain pump ?
wouldn’t it need to start draining before the spinning would start ?

The washer won’t spin if it does not drain, so you have a drain pump issue. Pump is either blocked up or bad, so you will need to investigate and see which it is.
