What have you tried so far?

I ran the diagnostic test #3 and the freezer motor works and the damper reads open and closed but the refrigerator motor won’t come on in the test. Does it work in series with the damper? On which wires do i read 14vdc? I need a service manual.

Hello
This unit has many issues with the FF fan motor icing up causing the motor not to run. If you call your PDA the new evaporator fan will come with a thermistor all in one harness to eliminate this issue. Matt Ace technician

But why wouldn’t the refrigerator evaporator motor come on in the test mode? Also the harness is separate on this model. Would the same scenario apply to this one?
  • If the fan is not coming on when it is suppose to in the test mode you could have a faulty fan motor , wiring, or control board. You will need to test for voltage to the fan motor. There could also be ice built up around the fan blades preventing the fan from running. From the tech sheet it looks like you should have 14 vdc from p14 pins 4 and 7. the red and tan wires. They show this on the the wiring diagram and chart next to the diagram.
