the washer will intermediately overfill with water.
sometimes during the Rinse cycle.
and sometimes it will work perfectly

This is a common problem on this model. There is an obstruction or pinched pressure switch tube and/or a bad pressure switch. There is a complete kit for this which come with the pressure switch and tubing. Part number is 3366847 and I have attached a video link for you.
