Water keeps splashing onto the lock assy and shorting it out. Is there a solution to prevent that

The tub cover splash guard is supposed to stop this, however I have seen this before. You will want to encase switch in a zip lock freezer bag around the switch body secured with nylon wire ties to protect the switch. this is the only solution that has worked for me in this situation. Good luck
