My top oven will not heat. When I put it on self clean the top burner inside the oven lights up and then begins the self clean. However when I go to heat something up on say 400 degrees, it does nothing…..very strange what is going on? It is obviously getting gas, but when I go to bake with the top oven it will not work.
Now the bottom oven is working, but we rarely have used it. Is this a flaw with Kitchenaid. The oven is only about 2 years old.

I would check the lower element in the oven to see if it is damaged the best way to check it would be to ohm it out with a volt ohm meter make sure you unplug oven before removing element it could be that or relay on control board.
