We have washer that will not pump. We have had two experienced technicians that are stumped on why this unit that will not pump water out of the tub. There are positively no restrictions as we completely tore the unit down to the inner and outer tub two different times by two technicians. We installed two different new pumps by both technicians. We have 115 volts to the pump and the pump is running. We can sometimes get the unit to pump out if we squeeze on the pump hose 3-4 times and prime it, the water will then will completely pump out. The next time fill and pump, it will not pump out at all, even with 115volts to the pump and clearly hearing the pump run. We have tried to pump the water into just a tub next to the washer thinking the drain could have back pressure or the drain hose in too far. We checked filter and check valve totally clear. We would like to know if anyone has run into this issue, I am sure we cannot be the only one. We are not factory certified Frigidaire and want know if there is recall on this specific pump part number below. Unless anyone else has another suggestion from what we have not tried already.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions

Check the installation guide for a minimum drain height. I’ve had machines work for years then the machine moves up on a pedestal and you have a drain problem. These newer style independent pumps take a specific amount of static pressure on the outlet before they will pump. Just try raising the drain hose a few inches and see if it changes your pump operation. If you try these solutions and they don’t work you can also try removing the filter from the intake. We had one unit that we went through all of the following steps you did, removing the filter solved the drain problem. Not sure if this was a design issue or not. Hope this helps
