Is the basket supposed to be hard to turn? It does turn but not freely . The washer fill but will not agitate then it will finally drain. The belt is ok. I need a tech sheet and service manual. Any advice will be appreciated.

Hi. I have attached a new link to for the service manual on this unit. I am not sure on this model if the basket should spin freely. Depends on if there is a brake that could be engaged or not. Typically the baskets on these style washers are suppose to spin freely, but I am not sure on your exact model.

I have attached the complete service manual for your model. All information you need is in the attachment. Also, I would take a good look at lid switch assembly as this is most likely cause of the issue.
