I got a no freezing condition and I wanna check the evaporator fan motor. I got a chance to take the freezer cover off and I didn’t see it running.

Hi. I am not having any luck on this unit. Since it is manufactured by LG, but it is a Kenmore makes it more difficult to find info on. I tried the evap fan part number as well and nothing comes up. If I can help in any other way on this one let me know. Did you have the door switches closed when checking the fan motor? Most LG unit require the doors to be closed for the fan to run.

Yes I did, the ice maker fan would run but not the evaporator fan

Sounds like a bad evap fan motor. But it could be the board instead. Typically these units send 5-15 vdc to the fan motor. You can check each wire to ground to see if you have the voltage at the fan.
