Afraid it will burn my grandchildren it is so hot. Is that normal? I never noticed it until today after a couple loads. Could hardly stand in front of it.

Earl, unfortunately this is normal operation. Especially when using the heat dry option. We get a lot of questions around the holidays when they are being used much more frequently, and multiple times in one day. You tend to notice things that you might not have before. But try and advise the grandchildren to avoid that since it’s hot, or maybe opt to run it at a different time if possible. Hope this helps!
