I looked under the washer for ( oil / grease ) very little inside the plastic housing of the gear box.

See technician sheets and diagnostics links below. Upon inspection look for any issues with the tub rubbing or something stuck between the tub. If you do not see any its a very strong possibility the grarcase is making the noise. Matt Ace technician
