I have this IN WALL OVEN with an F7 E6 ERROR
From what I read it says control panel problem, I think it’s a membrane that has gone bad
But I can’t find a part number for that… anybody have a clue?

Ran through diagnostic mode all major components seem to check out and service manual with that unit does not have a F 36 code. The unit seems to come on normally but as soon as you hit a function it flashes the Error and shuts off. Can you guys give me an input not just the manual it doesn’t seem to have an answere.

GE Profile french door unit, the mullion between the 2 fresh food doors gets sweaty / condensation on it. Turned the energy saver button off as instructed but it still doesn’t stop the condensation on the mullion. Also the ice chute get ice build up in it ( not frost like when a door recess goes bad, I mean solid chunks of ice.) Any suggestion to this ?

Freezer evaporator is located above in the freezer ceiling and drain keeps freezing and over flowing causing water to freezer over evaporator fan. Similar issues to the GE MONOGRAMS. I know the GE has a heater pad kit too address it freezing the drain tube but what can I do here.
Also the panel is unresponsive but I’m sure that’s just a bad panel my priority is fixing this freezing drain line to the drain pan located in the top of the fridge near the compressor.
System wont let me select dacor

Homeowner said that a technician came out previously because the display was blank and the technician the display board.
However when you put in the new board it displayed 555 on the freezer section and 999 on the refrigerator section.
Everything is working fine the unit is freezing and cooling however the buttons on the panel are not functioning.
Meaning I cannot change the temperature to anything I cannot shut the unit off besides for unplugging the unit.
I did on plug unit for quite a few minutes hoping that it would reset the control but it did not it returns to the same display

Ge dryer that will not stay running after you turn the start knob. If you hold the start knob over the dryer will run, but as soon as you let it go, the dryer shuts off. The start switch has been replaced. Does this sound like a motor issue or is it possible that the switch to the pulley is malfunctioning? Any advice would be great. Thanks in advance.

This customer had used the oven for about four hours earlier in the day. The oven was off and the bake element shorted out. I know there is always 110v volts to one side of the element. Is it common for an element to short out on it’s own when not in use? Customer is worried that there may be something wrong with the control board. I replaced the bake element and checked for power from the board. The only power present is on the one side coming from the terminal block. Control turns the element on and off with no problems. Control board has no visible problems and is working fine. Is there any concern here? Thank you in advance.

I put the unit in diagnostic mode and the icemaker would not work, so I cleared the code and changed the icemaker. Did the icemaker test, and everything seemed ok. Customer called and said still wasn’t working. The ice is frozen in the icemaker, but will not dump. Check codes and they are now code 2, 10, 7 all appearing 1 time 3 days ago. i am a little confused on what to due here. I think it is the thermistor in the icemaker compartment, but not 100% sure. Any suggestions?

Hi – I recently replaced motherboard, thermostat and Frzr thermistor due to defrosting issue on my GE PSS26SGRBSS. The heater reads 23 ohms and it is defrosting properly. Everything works on the fridge, however it stays on constantly (evap & condenser fans on), except during the defrost cycle. I took thermistors’ measurements in cold ice water and they were within the 16.1K ohm range. Placed thermometer in both cabins and the readings matched what’s on the fridge display. Even though the thermistors’ resistance is within the range, could they still be bad (i.e. not communicating correctly with the motherboard)? The unit cools down to set temp, but seems to take long time. Could you please help?

I have a GE ref model GFSS6KKYCSS, serial LT902433 Defrost drain tube for refrigerator (frost free section) is plugged. I used my steamer from the top and bottom (behind refrigerator by drain pan). The water in the ref was hot, but the water would not drain, so I don’t think it is ice blocking the tube. Tried sliding a wire through the drain tube, but the wire was stopped somewhere in the middle. Ran wire both ways thinking if something was in the tube, but no luck.
Is there anything else I can do? Is this drain tube accessible from any other place in the unit?

I have been having a recurring problem with the back panel inside the refrigerator section to freeze up, ice clogs the defrost drain and then water and ice build up under the vegtible drawers until water leaks into the freezer. three times in the past two years I have unplugged the refrigerator, removed all shelves and manually defrosted the refrigerator then removed the back panel to clear drain. I put it back together and then, within a few months I notice the same water build-up.

I watch your video entitled “Refrigerator Repair: Not cooling properly, freezing up back panel- Samsung. The video, even though listed as a Samsung, appears to have the identical defrosting mechanisim as my GE. the video explains how to change the Bimetal sensor, defrost heater and the ASM temp sensor. However, it does not describe how to diagnosis which part is defective.
Is there a way to put the refrigerator into a “Forced Defrost” mode? this way I could test to see if the defrost heater tube actually heats up.

Is there a way to test the various plugs where the defrost heater, bimetal, and Asm temp sensor plug into? I would like to ensure the plugs are at least getting power during the different stages of the defrost cycle. Thank you very much

Hi, I changed the ERC with a new one. Connect power to oven and clock powers up, then Loc rEF shows. Touch pad seems locked out. The ERC has a sticker on it that says important to set glass touch reference point. See mini manual for procedure. I do not have this mini manual. There is a part no. on the sticker 205c2793p001, don’t know if this is a good no. I’m not sure if this is what I have to do to get rid of the code and make the oven work properly. I have located the Tech sheet, says nothing about above procedure. Need help, Thanks Jim.
