Can’t seem to figure out whats going on with it, checked the element, fuse, thermostat, venting, and even cleared blower housing. But won’t heat up. Any help? about ready to give up.

Larry, you may be more frustrated to check some simple things but you’d be surprised sometimes at the problem. Start with the outlet – are you getting 240 volts to it? And is the dryer getting that same voltage? Also, check the venting at the unit itself but also at the outdoor vent. Sometimes even if those are clear there is still a blockage somewhere down the line. Clear the entire thing if it hasn’t been done in a long time. Also, an easy way to check is to take off venting and check air flow at the back. You’ll be able to tell pretty quick if that’s an issue. If none of these suggestions help, come back and I’ll see what else we can have you check. Good luck!
