The customer took the doors off to get it inside and didn’t secure the freezer door magnetic switch or door switch. But I need some technical information. The frost pattern is OK. I do see some frost in the middle 2 freezer vents. I can’t tell if the damper is working . How do I check the damper and other components?

Hi,
Our Samsung induction element is not working. It just clicks now when we use our induction cookware. Do you know if there is a fuse to check?

My fresh food sensor tested at 4.5 ohms at room temp 75 degrees I have ordered a new sensor anyway. if that doesn’t work what else can it be.
Frost paten is good on the evaporator in the fresh food section.
The condenser is clean.
Temp on display is 38 degrees for the fresh food section

We’ve been out 3x now and customer is beyond frustrated. We have changed the heating element and the thermostat separate calls. Both times machine tested and cleared as working but when the customer put it in use, no heat.

My question today is for the root cause of a code 3E on a Samsung washer not spinning
Here am I following findings on the washer
Check resistance on the motor pIns red 10.8 ohms
Hall sensor resistance pins between 1-3 read
4.68 K OHMS BETWEEN 1-4 Read 5.75 M OHMS
These values did not match what my fast track values were for the hall sensor
Read DC volts being delivered to Hall since her on the board was 5.21 VDC BETWEEN PINK AMD ORANGE
However when I ran into a quick test mode I was not getting any high voltage present from the board on the red white and blue wires that go to the motor.
According to my findings does it look like I have a bad hall sensor? Or a bad main board?

We are servicing a Samsung front load washer that won’t close. The door latch was replaced but the door still won’t close. Latch does work, you can hear the latch lock and unlock. We’re getting an error code ed. Drain hose is fine. You can push the door and hold and the error code goes away but as soon as you let go the door comes open. Please advise.

Breaker has been replaced, monitored current draw. very intermittent only did it once whilst on the call drew 16.5 amps for a brief second when the motor started this time it didn’t trip the breaker but registered on amprobe max draw, usually trips the breaker one a cycle, suspecting motor or invertor, any help would be welcome.

Hello Guys, my question is regarding a Samsung direct drive inverter washing machine top load. with a load of clothes spin speed is slow clothes remain wet. washer does not give any codes. the machine seems to spin okay unloaded. drain pump works fine no obstructions, my thoughts were that it might be the clutch assy. also thought it might be a drive motor. needed a more experienced techs. opinion. would appreciate your guidance. Thank you for your help.

Hello I was diagnosing and Samsung side-by-side model Rs263tdpn for ice build up on REFRIGERATOR SIDE not allowing airflow I can hear the fan running but there’s no air moving but I did see ice so I am assuming there’s Ice blocking the air. I ran the unit into a diagnostic FORCED DEFROST MODEto check for defrost issue first. According to my fast track I forced the refrigerator section into defrosting checked my voltage on the control board and had voltage coming out at 120 V supply the defrost heater for the refer. Also check my current and had about a 1.16 Amp which does correspond with the resistance that I also checked there was was a little low 60 ohms. I also check the drain lines and clean those in the back of the unit. But what is puzzling me is when I Forced the defrost I still CAN NOT get 120 V out the board supplying the freezer heater I’m not sure if I have the right fast track that’s allowing me to check the freezer even though ITS NOT the nature of the complaint I’m giving the unit A thorough diagnosis. I still need to return to check the drain line to see if it may need a metal clip. But what I am used to seeing is when I force this into defrost that I can see if I have amp draw for both refrigerator and freezer defrost heaters , is there another button besides the freeze but that would allow me to energize both heaters or is there something possibly going on with the board? By the way I still have to check the temperature sensor inside the refer I have not done that yet

Hello my question today is with the Samsung dryer looks like it’s the dual element style will run for 3-5 seconds and then shut off. If the power is turned off and restarted on the unit it would start again for another 3-5 seconds and then shut off but if it’s press to start without powering off the unit it will not start again unless it’s powered off. This seems to happen in any mode whether it’s timed or auto. The unit is only about two years old I don’t think it’s running long enough for that motor to even overheat within 3-5 seconds also the unit is that even running long enough to even start to warm up in the 3 to 5 second window.
I would just like to know what to suspect at this point? To check the relay on the board to see if it’s open or is this a known issue ? I have not seen the Samsung dryer do this before

fill too much water into washer before stopping. It then gives a IE or 1E code. would the problem be in the control board or something else.

When you start the washer all the lights go on, you cannot program a cycle, and the washer starts and has sound, water comes in, not agitating.

When I press power button (without pressing start button), hot water starts filling up tub and does not stop. I have to unplug washer to stop hot water. Hot water solenoid is working fine. I flip hot water and cold water connector and press power button. Now cold water runs continuous. If I unplug power connector for hot water solenoid, washer runs without any issue. Only delicate mode does not work. Delicate mode gives error 4E. Also hot water solenoid makes continuous humming/chatter noise till power is on. If I flip hot and cold connectors, cold water solenoid makes noise.
What could be the cause? How to fix this problem? Which part need replacement? What we part cost?
