Hi, my dishwasher randomly came on with a blinking clean light. I watched your informative video on how to reset the codes on other whirlpool dishwashers, mine however doest have the same button setup, and am curious if you know the button combination to reset mine. Ive inspected to element and put a multimeter on it to read the ohms, this checks out as fine. any help would be much obliged.

During preheat period, the oven temperature does not reach preset temperature while when baking period starts, the temperature in the oven continues to get hotter beyond the preset temperature (it does not turns off). Oven temperature sensor was replaced but problem persisted. Microwave works fine after board was replaced. Are there any other parts (thermostat, thermal controls, etc.) that the board will control for the oven and need replacement?

thanks,
ao

Dishwasher will not start. Left hand panel cycle lights on touchpad when pushed work (pots pans, normal, etc.) and stay on for a bit then turn off. Right hand cycle lights (hi temp, sanitize, heated dry) do not come on. Have tested continuity of fuse – all OK. Have tried reset of control board using hi temp and dry buttons being pushed a total of 10 times alternating buttons – but since the lights do not come on it’s not working. Is there a way to test the control board? Is the touchpad part of the control board unit or is it a seperate part? Anyway to test that? Thanks for any assistance.

My washer seems to only work intermittently. Some days it runs full cycles and other days it quits mid way through and I have to open and close the lid and restart it. Seems to be fine after that. Any thoughts on where I should begin?

My ice maker is not working in my refrigerator. Is there some way I can run a diagnostic test to see what is wrong?

Hello,
I have a fridge that has water accumulating in the bottom and is beginning to not cool. Is the water just condensation? Is this something I could fix myself? I’d love some help with this.

I have an odd problem, our duet washer is filling, with hot water only, when completely turned off and not in use. I came down to do laundry and found quite a substantial amount in the tub already. I drained it and did my load, and then checked the next day and same thing. I have a feeling this is also causing our hot water heater to run more than normal since the water is actually warm. Any help is appreciated.

I have an electric dryer that I can’t figure out. It’s not heating and I initially thought it was the element. I got it apart and checked that, but it seems fine. Then I found a video on here suggesting the thermostat, but that is also coming back fine. What a I missing?

Hello,
My husband is trying to diagnose of our refrigerator is dying. He says the fans seem to be running but it’s not cooling. He’s thinking compressor but I wanted to know what else we could check before deciding to get rid of it or attempt to fix it. Thank you ahead of time.

I have a Whirlpool Duet gas dryer, GGW9200LQ0 that is roughly 12 years old. It runs and generates heat but in the last 10-11 months it has been taking too long dry a load of laundry (unlike its first 11 years of service)

I have previously disassembled it and vacuumed out excessive lint from the internals. This seems to help for some time but I need to do it again after 6 months.

The dryer does not turn off during a cycle but it doesn’t dry clothes completely. E.g. a 90 minute high heat cycle leaves 6-8 pairs of jeans warm and damp.

The dryer was moved to my basement about 10 months ago and a new rigid venting line installed (no screws). It’s about a 12′ run of venting upwards to a ground level exhaust vent and has about 3 elbows in the venting run. I just disassembled the venting and had to clean out lots of lint in the venting again.

I know how to test the thermostats, is there a way to test the other combustion components for problems? Shouldn’t the lint screen be catching more of the lint than this?

Also – how often should the thermostats, moisture sensor bars, coils and ignitors be changed? Would the drive belt, rollers and idler pulley be due for replacement at 12 years of average use?

I have been having problems with my washing machine. The lid lock light begins to blink throughout different parts of the cycle. When this happens I have to pause the whole cycle, wait for light to stop blinking and unlock, and press start for it to lock again to continue throughout the rest of the cycle. I have to do this several times in order to complete a load of laundry. I did a diagnostics test like you said too in one of your videos, but I do not have the sheet to tell me what my error code means. The first set in the error code was sense, rinse, spin, and done.. Followed by the second set which was only the done light. Can you please help me figure out what this code means as well as why my lid lock begins to blinking numerous times throughout every cycle?

Will the module part number 101 90935 fit the ice maker corresponding to this fridge?

Thanks in advance.

Our dryer isn’t heating up. My husband checked the coils because I heard that was a typical repair, but they are fine and working. What else can we check?

Our range is beeping non-stop and flashing the aforementioned error code. From what I could find online, this is a shorted keypad. So what part do I need and is there a video that could show me how? I really don’t want to have to get a new range and am hoping this won’t be too difficult.

Unit will only start in diagnostic mode. When I first start diagnostic mode, all lights are green. The unit Will get a few minutes in to diagnostic mode and dies, no lights and the unit will not respond. It will only respond trying to run diagnostic mode, always get the same result, it dies and is unresponsive.

I checked to see if the chopper blade was jammed, it was not. I replaced the control board, that did not fix the issue.

Any ideas. Could it be the thermal fuse? Would diagnostic mode still try and work if the thermal fuse is bad?

I tried working through the service manual attached to the inside of the kickplate but there wasn’t anything in the troubleshooting that referenced what to look for when the unit died during the diagnostic mode.

I assume that once the unit got to somewhere in diagnostic mode that wasn’t working properly it shut down…

Any ideas or feedback would be appreciated.

I Have a Whirlpool Gold French Door Refrigerator
M/N:GX5FHDXVB03 S/N:K02386807 purchased on 6/21/2010.
-The Vertical Mullion Rail (Flipper Mullion) is very warm or even hot to the touch.
-The freezer, set on the warmest setting is too cold.
-The refrigerator is not cold enough.
-After the internal controls for the refrigerator and the freezer are both set to off, the unit continues to sound like it is running. This stops only when it is unplugged.
How should I proceed?

My ice wouldn’t come out so I aimed my hair dryer up the despencing hole in the front. Held the rubber black flap up with a wooden spoon and I think I knocked it out of what ever holds it in place because it won’t work now and you can move the piece up and down. how do I get that put back in the slots>

I have a code 90 when I run the diagnostics from the panel. My dryer will beep 3 three times when after pressing power and then pressing the start button. The drum light is not lit but tested good. I’m thinking it’s the door switch, correct?
