so the unit is getting an e 21 error. i put it into the diagnostic test mode and it will not go past s01

Hello
If your Bosch dishwasher is flashing with an E21 error code, this is telling you there is a wash motor/ pump issue. Start by checking the wash motor and capacitor . See if the pump is jammed, blocked pump or not running due insufficient water flow. Matt Ace technician

I tried to vacuum out both pumps. The issue that I’m having is that when you put it into diagnostic mode it doesn’t go past s01 I did see water filling but not that much. Can it be due to the recirculating pump not working. And if so how do I change the pump

If the water flow is not correct it will not advance and you will get the 01 error. You need to replace the pump and check water inlet for proper water pressure.
