The Smart Auto and Normal LED’s are flashing per the customer. I found the motor/pump locked up due to lack of use, unstuck impeller, unit running. Not sure what the flashing LED’s reference.

With those lights blinking on his model, i believe it is giving a high water temp error code. This error code will show up when the thermistor senses temps above 176 deg. Fahrenheit for more than 3 seconds. Possible failures are the assembly sensor ECS and Main PBA ( control board) . I hope this was helpful. If you need any further assistance please let me know.
