my GE cooler does not cool the freezer and the refrigerator seems to be capillary blocked
how can I replace the capillary and the Reversing Valve ?
How can the refrigerant enter in the two evaporators if nothing appears ?

Hi. I have attached the service manual on this unit for you. It does not get into details about the sealed system of the unit. Was the condition of the unit the same before and after replacing the compressor? Did it have refrigerant in the system before you replaced the compressor? Also, did you install a filter drier or have a high side access valve/ port? Does the compressor run? If so, what are your low and high side pressures? You should roughly have 0-15 psi low side pressure and 130-180 high side pressure with the compressor running.

    where the high pressure enters the freezer evaporator? where does the saturation? 5 psi low side pressure and 130 high side pressure

  • Your pressures seem normal. The unit is not cooling in either section? No frost on either evaporator?

  • How’s the temperature in the freezer? Is the freezer evaporator fan running? How’s the frost pattern on the freezer evaporator?
