We have to spin out three times to get clothes from being sopping wet

Customer has to spin out three times to get clothes from being sopping wet. Also says unit stopping no reason mid cycle?
I’m thinking the drain is partially clogged? Or does this machine still use the trap in the tub to pump hose?
