I’m repairing a ge monogram 10 yrs of age, I found a capacitor to be bad, this capacitor is located in the back of the unit at the top where the compressor compartment is located. I Haven’t been able to lpocate this capacitor on any site the only capacitor I can locate is the one located in the front of the compressor compartment that is a small black rectangle which is still good and I don’t require. The capacitor I’m searching for is silver 4 to 6 inches in lenth has 3 prongs and is a cylinder in shape. Would you know where I could find this part

Hi. I can not find this capacitor on the parts break downs either. Does this part seem to be the OEM orginal part of the unit or does it seem like it has been replaced before with this after market capacitor? Can you get any writing that may be on this part? We can try and cross any numbers on this part to a part number for you.
