Does this unit have a heat exchanger?
My technician said he needs this part due to a Freon restriction. We are not finding a picture on the parts diagram.
My tech said its a capillary tube running from the evaporator that is likely restricted. He was working on a sealed system repair, replacing the compressor and evaporator today.
Please let me know the part number that would be needed.
My tech replaced all parts and recharged the system. He said the unit started to cool, but then it stopped.
Is this restriction something that should have been determined prior to recharging the system? I’m not a technician, but I believe he should have checked the line before recharging.

I looked it up by the model number you have in this link. It is the correct part for this model number. You really cannot see the diameter. If you gave me the correct model number, I can assure you this is the correct capillary tube.

The service manual link is below and the part number for the capillary tube is WR02X13222. He will also need to replace the filter dryer WR86X10030 when replacing the capillary tube. It could be a restriction, I would not know unless knew his gage pressure readings.

My technician stated that the capillary tube runs inside the cabinet and is much smaller in diameter that the part you referenced above. Would it be possible to discuss the issue over the phone?
