light in the oven is always on , the turn off key seems is not working and as well some other 2 o 3 keys. my guess is i need to change the membrane, but , how i will konw if is just the membrane and not the the coen ntrol too. there is not teck sheet in the oven or else where. i do not want to give a wrong estimate to my costumer because the control is too expensive, one of the control is $279.17 and the membrane $140.00 if i added together both is so much. menbrane pt# 9756595bt- control pt# 9762812

Hi Armgua, thanks for your question. I believe you are on the right track with diagnosing the problem as the membrane (touchpad assembly). Does the oven still function? Bake Broil etc? just certain keys don’t work? such as numbers and clock and what not? If bake and broil are working, I would definitely go with Membrane (touchpad)…Typically when the control goes out, NONE of the buttons will work. Please let us know if this fixes your issue. On a side note, I did want to mention that the model you provided us, indicated this was a stainless steel model. But the part number you supplied for the membrane was actually biscuit colored. The stainless steel membrane part number is 9756595ES…. I’d hate to see you order the wrong color! Attached is a link to the membrane part!
