The above washer is leaking from the tub seal and is loud in spin. I have not done this repair before but I’m thinking it is going to need the Kit support assembly. Part number WH16X10185. Has anyone done this repair? I would like to know if there are other parts I should be replacing as well. Looks like it has been leaking for a while. I’m familiar with changing out the mode shifter in other GE models but this is not quite the same and I did not find any good info on this repair. Thank you for any advise on this one.

We’ve had several of these of which the support assembly seems to have welded to the inner tub.We could not get them apart. You will have to include the inner tub and outer basket in the quote which raises the cost to about the price of a new. Has anyone else come across this problem? The first one we tried to get apart, I practically destroyed the support assembly and still could not get it separated?
