Maytag washer setting the Know on Drain/Spin, the motor runs slow and is getting so hot.
have you run into that problem before.?

Model Number
MVWX500XW0
What have you tried so far?

Motor start capacitor is reading 50 UF, should be 50 UF so its Ok.
Motor windings both are in the range of 4.3 ohms, should be between 3.5 to 6 ohm so its ok.
If I rotate the motor without taking the belt off, it moves freely so mechanical parts are fine.
What I noticed is when the machine is running the voltage between J6-5 (N) and J6-6, and J6-5 (N) and
J6-7 are reading 120VAC at the Same Time, just wonder if the main control board failed and the motor windings are
getting hot due to that?
Thanks for your help

I think you have the right diagnosis. I have seen the boards go bad to where they send voltage to both windings at the same time. Usually the motor wont spin and just hums loudly. The board will sometimes have a hum to it as well. Check and make sure you can turn the basket freely. If so I would replace the board.
