The referidge side is not cooling after 5 years. Freezer side is cold. Fan is working on freezer side, not fridge side.
Tried to hit the thermostat, no luck./ Unplugged with same result.

Hi. The model number you provided is not valid. It should be all numbers and is probably going to start with 106. . It should be located on the inside refrigerator wall. I will be able to see what unit we are working with once I have the model number. If the freezer seems cold enough and the fan is working then you may have a defrost issue, which blocks air flow to the refrigerator. Check for frost build up on the back panel of the freezer. Heavy frost build up on this panel is a symptom of a defrost issue. Here are some videos on defrost issues.

106.59422801 is the complete model #. I noticed after 14 hours without going in to the fridge that the temp is 40 degrees. I am leaning towards the defrost issue & will check shortly. Any other thoughts at this time?

This sounds like you have a part of your defrost system put. If this is a side by side unit remove the food from the lower half of the freezer section, can you see or feel a layer of frost on the back evaporator coil cover. If so this means if you take off the evaporator cover that will have 6-8 screws it will have a heavy frost layer on the coil. When the coil frosts up it will restrict air flow to the refrigerator section and you will not maintain proper temperatures. You will need to take a hair dryer and defrost the coil completely until you see no frost at all . Has the frige been turned off recently for an extended period of time? That Is good temp for the frige. Whats the temp in the freezer?

The average refrigerator temperature on the middle setting should range from 38-42 degrees. The 40 degree temperature is well withing the normal range.

The fridge is in constant use for the past 5 years, the temp is set to the coldest. I am defrosting the freezer as we speak to see if that is the issue. If so, then I guess I replace the motherboard.

First step: get an accurate thermometer. Temp was reading 38 degrees but the milk could be used for a block of ice. : / All seems to working correctly at this point. I suspect it will be the control board/motherboard, so I am going to see if I can reproduce the problem (auto-defrost not working). If so, then it is time to get a new control board.
