Hello, I have ice dispenser flap that is not closing all the way, on a Sub-zero side by side, because it looks like the heater on it has shorted and made a bubble on the surface. Can this part be replaced? PS it is not the round dispenser flap on the refrigerator door. It is the flap that is in between the wall that separates the freezer and refrigerator.
I tried removing the part to see if it was replaceable. I was able to free up the lower portion of the part, but when it came to the top part, I got resistance. I didn’t want to pull or tug too much and break it.

See the service manual link below. Everything is replaceable on this unit in cluding the round dispenser. Call 1-800-832-3166 to get the part number from Sub-Zero direct distributer. Matt Ace technician
