Hello
I would first check the venting to see if there is an obstruction in the vent or internally in the blower housing creating an overheat condition. There are many possibilities including the motor drawing high amprege, weak or defective cycle thermostat and many other possibilities. I would look at the technician sheet provided for the DCVH SERIES. Its not your exact model we do not have that listed in our manuals library as of yet. Matt Ace technician

Hi. This sounds like a mad motor. When dryer motors get weak and fail, it is common for the dryer to shut off mid cycle. IF you try to start the dryer again you can hear the motor hum and it will not start back up. If you wait for some amount of time for the motor to cool down, it will start back up and run. Faulty motors are usually louder than normal as well.
