The oven control board/clock on this unit shuts down completely and goes blank when doing a self clean but comes back on as soon as it cools down, and shows that there was a power failure

The oven control board/clock on this unit shuts down completely and goes blank when doing a self clean but comes back on as soon as it cools down, and shows that there was a power failure. Pushing cancel resets it and then it functions normally. I don’t see a cooling fan in the parts diagram and didn’t think to look for on when I was at the appliance. Would this be a control board problem or a preservation mechanism built in to the appliance? Thank you for any advice.
