HI BRIAN. I TRIED TO PUT THE WASHER INTO SPIN AND DIAGNOSTIC MODE, BUT IT WOULD NOT GO. I OHMED OUT THE THREE PRONGED CONNECTION ON THE MOTOR AND FOUND 9 OHMS AT 1 N 2 / 2 N 3 / 1 N 3. THE TROBLE SHOOTING GUIDE SAID IT SHOULD BE 11.6 OHMS AT EACH WINDING. IS THAT LINK YOU GAVE ME PARTICULAR TO THIS WASHER? ANY WAY, I RAN A WASH CYCLE AND THE MOTOR MOVES OK, BUT THE WASHER STARTED TO SHAKE A LITTLE, IT WAS WITH OUT LAUNDRY AT THE TIME. DURING THE SPIN IT WILL NOT SPIN OUT AT A GREAT SPEED. ANY INFO WOULD BE GREAT. THANKS, TODD FROM NY.
  • I did check that tech sheet again and it does show its for your exact model number. I would not be concerned with the ohms readings you got on the motor. They are not far off from what they should be. Hopefully you will be able to get into diagnostic mode and find the error codes. Does the tub spin freely by hand? You might have something hung up preventing it from spinning as well. Clothing stuck between the tub and basket could cause this. Was there any oil or water leaking underneath it? Making any noise in spin? You could have an issue with the clutch or transmission.

Hi Todd,
What happens in the spin cycle with this unit? Is it giving an error code? Making any noises? There is a diagnostic mode we can run on this unit. I am having a hard time finding the tech sheet on this or any information. Hopefully you can get a tech sheet out of the unit. Let me know.
