We have a very strange problem with this washer, Whirlpool ,mod.WFW8400TW00
It leaks in the clean cycle only . Couldn’t find the source of the leak
because dryer is on the top of the washing machine ,located in the very small room .
Anyone knows about the source of the leak in the clean cycle so we can save our time
without going back and forth ?

This is a door boot issue. In the clean cycle washer fills to a higher point and/or spins with water in it to clean the outer tub, this is the reason it would only leak in the clean cycle and not the others. A small hole or rip in door boot can be missed until taken apart.Call 1-800-830-5465 for parts if needed
