I LOVE my washer and Dryer Set… It is not a combination like I said in my last post. They are made by LG and are WM9000HVA and DLEX9000V I have the pedestal washer (baby washer under my washer… I take care of my washing machine. I keep them clean!! Having said all of that… We do have an issue… When we put fabric softener in the dispenser cup it will not empty or dispense that fabric softener. I watched it during a load, and water will not dispense into the softener dispenser cup. The bleach cup is next to it, and I believe they come from the same line but Y split. The bleach will dispense, however, not very well. Looking at it more cloasely I am not sure that the soap dispenser water is as strong as it used to be, but it is functioning currently… We do have hard water and I use softener… I love the smell of clean clothes! I have read that this has been fixed by others while only opening the top of the machine. The lines and the pump can be addressed form simply taking the top off. All the videos here only show repair\replacement of the pumps on the bottom left of the machine. Is it true that softener is as bad for a machine as they say? How do I clean out the softener out of the whole machine and how do I get water to go back into the softener cup? If it is as bad for the machine as they say, then we will never use it again!
Again, I love my machines and will do anything to keep them going well in the next 20 years!
Cleaning cycles with CLR and other cleaning cycles with Tide washing machine cleaner +Ultra OXI. Not much really. I don’t want to open it up (take it apart) until I have the correct advice/directions.
Hello, F160, and 170 are the water inlet valves. They have wiring harness that supplies 115 volts to them. Once they are energized with 115 volts they open up a diaphragm to let water pass through them.

Hello
See the link to the service manual and parts diagram. It sounds like you dispenser hoses have a build up in them from possibly your hard water, that will cause lime and calcium deposits in the hoses. Go to page #56 in the manual link. From your dispenser you have three hoses F215, E322 and E321 in the diagram. I would either remove the hoses and try to clean them out or order new hoses. You can call Sears Parts Direct at 1800-366-7278 and give them your model number, they will look up the parts and ship them to you. Or you can call a professional appliance repair technician to do the job. Hope this helps . Thanks

Thank you very much for the info. I found what you were speaking about on page 57. I could be wrong (and please tell me if I am), but I think the parts you are referring to are the hoses to the Soap and Prewash soap. There are 3 there because I believe one is recycled water from the drum? I don’t know. However, I think you pointed me in the right direction! I think the hoses to the fabric softener are F327 (x2) and F340 and the pumps (or something) for it are the F170 and F160. I think I may try to clean or replace the terminating F340 hose first. Can you please tell me what the F160 and F170 are? Are they pumps?
