Hi. I have attached the service manual for you. It does sounds like you have spark module issue. Could be wiring or burner switches. Page 19 explains the burner operation with the spark module.Unfortunately It looks like you will have to gain access to the spark module to be able to test it. The service manual shows disassembly. At the bottom of the service manual it has some troubleshooting as well.

Hi. The F6E0 error code is a communication error code. Unfortunately there is not a test procedure to show which part is faulty. You can follow the steps in the tech sheet for this error which may get you further towards a diagnosis. You will find after running through the tests it will instruct you to first replace the wide interface board and if that does not correct the issue replace the microwave appliance manager. I have attached the tech sheet for you. Go to page 7 where your F6E0 error code will be listed. You can follow the steps it provides. The most likely part that is faulty would be the wide interface board.

Hi. Have you checked your frost pattern on the freezer evaporator? It sounds like you have a sealed system issue. The most common being a leak in the refrigerator system. I have attached the service manual for you.

. Sorry to hear that you are having this trouble. Sadly you will need to replace the board, replacing the fuse will not solve the issue, its likely not just a blown fuse but other capacitors and such on the board as well.

Hello
The average harvest cycle should be every 90 minutes. So yes, two harvest cycles in 16 hours is definitely an issue. You should not have to adjust the water pressure at the ice maker adjustment screw. When the ice maker completes its cycle you should have 1/2 inch of water across the bottom of the ice maker tray. If you do not have 1/2 in across the tray you have a restricted water pressure issue. Start from the saddle valve and work forward until you find the restriction. You also need to be sure you have proper temperatures in the ice maker compartment. The ice maker will not cycle unless you have +14 degrees. The ice maker has an internal thermostat that will prevent the harvest cycle unless it is +14 degrees or colder. We have seen sealed system warm temperatures cause low ice production. Also look at the service bulletin links below n the door closure hinge kits. Make sure both freezer and refrigerator doors are securely closed without anything blocking them, that will cause warm temperatures and low ice production. Matt Ace technician

With my experience on this model, the problem is in the main control. With the cost of this repair, its generally expensive, I would buy a new Microwave.

I’ll be helping you with your appliance question today. Please wait a few moments while I review your question.
F1E5 is a tricky error code because it does refer to the inverter board being bad and not something you can just reset. The inverter board is what powers up the magnetron to heat the food. It’s tricky because it’s not a testable failure but sometimes the magnetron is the part that actually fails and not the inverter. Either way, you can’t test which part has failed for certain, but most of the time its the inverter board which is why you need to replace the inverter board first. The board is located above the microwave so the entire microwave oven combo needs to be uninstalled and the top sheet metal panel removed to access the board above the unit for replacement.

There is a pin in the door that holds the handle, if that is ripped out, there is no actual fix other than replacing the whole door assembly.

If you had a compressor issue, you’d still hear motors and fans running. The fact that the unit is silent means you have a problem with your high voltage control board which unfortunately is the most common part to fail on this model. The board is located on the back of the refrigerator so you have to pull the unit out. You can try to unplug the refrigerator for 5 minutes to see if the board will reset, but if not then you’ll just need to replace the control board.

No problem. So this FF means your unit went into demo mode. To exit, you just need to press and hold the FREEZER and ALARM buttons at the exact same time for 5 seconds. That should exit demo mode. If it doesn’t work, keep trying again and again because the panel is VERY sensitive that you press the buttons at the exact same time.

So this is a well known problem for these viking units. There was a pan heater designed to go below the water pan on each of these model. The problem is that the bottom didn’t get warm enough to cause the water to evaporate so you need to install the new pan heater.

so it sounds like the problem is your inverter board is failing and is going to need to be replaced. That is the part I sent you above. Eventually it will stop kicking the compressor on which of course will mean the unit will stop cooling.

Unfortunately a bed spread and small blanket are very difficult to balance because they’re so heavy and off balance. Remove them and see if the washer will spin out normally. If so, the washer is just trying to balance the load which is why it counts down to 5 and jumps back up to 12 to try to balance the load again. You may have to add some bath towels so hopefully the washer will balance a bit better. If it won’t balance, then either you need to hang dry or bring it to a laundry mat. These units spin much faster than older washers so they are very sensitive and will refuse to spin if they can’t balance the load.

With my experience on this model. The internal fuse is blown on the Microwave, possibly due to a faulty door switch.
- AV Repair Help answered 7 years ago
So unfortunately this means that one of your door switches has failed. There are 3 door switches and usually the bottom one is the one that fails, but you’d need to remove the outer shell of the microwave and test the switches to know for certain which switch is bad. Below is a link to a video that shows you how to test the actual door switches inside your microwave to know which one to replace. Now access on your microwave may be slightly different, but it’s essentially the same and testing the switches is the exact same as the video. Just determine which switch is bad and replace it. Then you should be good to go again.

When the oven says “feature not available” it means that the control board thinks the oven is in self clean. Try to just flip the breaker off to the oven for 5 minutes and see if the electronics will reset. If that doesn’t work then unfortunately it means that your display control board logic is just corrupt and the entire display board would need to be replaced to resolve that issue.
- AV Repair Help answered 7 years ago
Ok. Unfortunately you will need to order and replace the main control.
