In reply to: Keeps running

unfortunately this means that one of your door switches has failed. There are 3 door switches and usually the bottom one is the one that fails, but you’d need to remove the outer shell of the microwave and test the switches to know for certain which switch is bad.

Unplug the refrigerator for 10 minutes and plug it back in and see if the display board resets if not the main board on the back of the fridge that powers the display board has failed and will have to be replaced to fix it.

In reply to: leaking water inside

The defrost drain is behind the rear wall, inside the freezer. The rear panel (inside) will need to be removed to access that drain. The cover comes off to expose the aluminum evaporator coil, the drain is directly below it.

If you have looked at all of the information that ( Sam Ace technician ) provided be sure to look at the evaporator for an even frost pattern. There is also a possibility of a sealed system refrigerant leak. Matt Ace technician

First try to unplug the unit or shut the breaker off to the unit for 2 full minutes to reset all the controls on it. See if that changes the condition if not that is a common issue you would need a new touchpad to fix the unit.

There is a service pointer for excessive frost on the fresh food evaporator . This will cause the fresh food drain to freeze over causing water under the refrigerator crisper drawers. The fresh food thermistor may need to be relocated (outlined in the attached pointer) and you will need to clear drain with steam or hot water. The reason for condensation around the damper and the reason for the frozen fresh food drain also may be due to the fresh food doors not sealing correctly allowing ambient air temperature to cause this issue. Check the door seals very closely and replace if ripped, torn or misshapen. Get to the fresh food evaporator and check thermistor location and relocate if needed (as outlined in attached pointer) and clear drain. After corrections are made it is best to leave unit unplugged with doors open for 24 hours to allow all condensation to completely dry from all air returns.

To remove the control lock, you should just need to press and hold the SANITIZE button for 5 seconds on your control panel. If that doesn’t work, flip the circuit breaker off to the dishwasher on your house for 5 minutes and try again. If you still have problems and it won’t remove, the control board inside your door has failed and would need to be replaced so if it’s less than a year old, call warranty and they will replace it at no charge.

In reply to: grinding noise

Normally only 3 parts on a dishwasher cause a grinding sound. The drain pump, circulation pump, and chopper blade. We need to determine which one. Can you hear what part of the dish washer the sound is coming from?

Hello
Oversudsing causes the LC error . Using either too much or the wrong kind of detergent (dishwashing liquid vs. dishwasher detergent) will cause oversudsing which leaks out of the door into the base pan. Matt Ace technician

Hello
Here are the common fixes for your issue. I know you have checked a few of these items already. The refrigerator and freezer sections are connected by air channels to allow air to pass between them. Slamming a door shut forces air from one cavity into the other, often pushing the second door open.

1) Check to see if the refrigerator door gasket is sealing properly. If not, wash the entire door gasket with baking soda and water (1 part baking soda to 3 parts water), especially on the hinge side. Then lubricate the hinge side of the door gasket with paraffin wax (not candle wax). All refrigerator door gaskets are designed to rub the face of the refrigerator as they close. Keeping the gaskets clean and lubricated prevents them from dragging and restricting door closure.
2) Place heavier items in the freezer door compartments to provide some ballast (weight), since this is the smaller door and is more likely to pop open.
3) Make sure there is nothing in the freezer or refrigerator that is preventing a door from closing tightly.
4) Condensate drain unplugged .
5) Unit is properly leveled.
6) Door hinge cam assembly bent or damaged. See page #17 in manual link below.

E01 F01 is a very straight forward error for these Maytag Maxima washers. The error means your CCU (central control unit) has failed and will need to be replaced. The CCU is the main control board for your washer and it’s located under the top panel of the washer in the front right corner. It will need to be replaced to fix the issue and I’ll warn you in advance the part is typically about $250-300 depending on the exact model number located on a sticker just inside the door way.
