Hello
Are you getting 220 volts into the unit ? You went through line #1 ( Black) all of your fuses and thermostats. Line #2 white is wired :
1) Through the door switch.
2) Through the push to start switch.
3) Through the centrifugal switch.
If all are good line one and two you should have 220 to the heating element. I am sure you checked element for continuity. Matt Ace technician

Hello
If your compressor is not running , the noise you hear could be the overload / relay trying to start the compressor. Are you getting any error codes ? Is the condenser fan motor running? See the manual link below and run the unit through the diagnostic mode. From the symptom you are explaining you may have a defective Relay/ overload, bad control board or locked up compressor. Hello
See the technician diagnostic sheet link below. If you thermal fuse and door switch are closed you should have power to the ERC. Here are the only other possibilities below.
1) Make sure you have 115 volts with proper polarity and ground.
2) You could have a blown TCO attached to control.
A. Unplug dishwasher or disconnect power.
B. Measure resistance. If open, replace. If replaced more than once, replace harness as well. See manual for instructions.
3) Shorted Keypad.
A) Check keypad operation on page #1 of the service manual.
4) Bad control.
A) Disconnect power to dishwasher to reset.

Hello
Have you put your gauges on yet ? We have had several of the 500 and 600 series Sub Zero units with partial restrictions from compressor oil migrating into the evaporator and capillary tube. This prevents the unit from equalizing fast enough and it will cycle on and off on the overload like yours is doing. You will need to see if the compressor high and low side pressures are equalized when this is occurring . In order to correct it we had to replace the evaporator and heat exchanger. Hello
On the 532 series units the condensers can be plugged and restricted easily. You need to clean the condensers with C02 . They need to be 100% clean to operate properly. We clean them by taking a wet towel and cover the top of the compressor and blow high pressure C02 through the condenser and the wet towel catches all of the dust. Many times we found impacted condensers that were just cleaned on the outside layer of the condenser. Then the unit continued to overheat and compressor extremely hot and shuts off on the overload all due to a dirty , impacted condenser. Also make sure the condenser fan motor is running and moving good air across the compressor. If all of this is done you may have a defective compressor. See technician guide below to verify compressor failure. Matt Ace technician

Hello Mike
There a few things that can make the compressor hot or overheat.
1) If you compressor is locked up it will overheat. You have a hermetic compressor. It is completely sealed by a welded seam. If the the compressor locks up it needs to be replaced. ( Very expensive repair )
2) The relay on the compressor is defective. It is number #1 on the schematic. If the relay goes bad it can make the compressor overheat.
You can call our parts department with your model number at 1-800-830-5465 to get a price on the relay.

You will need look at the link below and go to page #95 for sealed system diagnoses. Also look at page #18 for your 3-way valve. The 3-way valve needs to be in the neutral position before charging the system. It is also essential to scale in the refrigerant. Hope this helps…. Matt Ace technician
